Degree in Information Technology or equivalent in business administration
Project design and management qualification (Agile)
Minimum Experience:
More than 5 years technical project management experience within a complex environment
Proven track record of successful implementation of digital transformation projects essential.
Other Requirements:
Willing to work overtime if required
Must have own transport

Key Performance Areas & Indicators Digital Transformation
Develop digital transformation strategy to deliver differentiated customer experience of the companies value proposition - Increased new and existing business - Clear deliverables and time lines
Drive technology change program; i.e. design, develop and implement digital transformation solutions
Successful delivery of work streams - Within agreed timelines and budgets
Assist Exco to make investment decisions in technology and provide best value for money, within agreed budgets - Cost effective purchasing of hardware, software and support - Robust service level agreements in place
Maintain up to date knowledge of ICT landscape as well as market trends and competitor activity - Provide thought leadership, recommendations and direction
Business Process Optimisation
Identify, prioritize and implement opportunities for process improvement and /or business re- engineering - Improved business performance - Cost effective, streamlined solutions
Determine when incremental process improvement is sufficient and when radical process reengineering is necessary - Fit for purpose, cost- effective solutions - Successful integration with legacy systems, if applicable)
Develop digital transformation documentation i.e. business processes, policies and procedures - Policies developed, maintained on intranet - Ensure compliance to new processes
Data Management
Analyze quantity and quality of data and determine the data needed before and post digital transformation - Eliminate unnecessary data or duplication of data
Evaluate and optimize work processes, systems and people which create data - Employees trained - Data quality monitored and improved
Analyze and develop a Company wide document management solution - Understand needs and standardize on single solution
Organisational Change Capability
Ensure digital transformation is understood at an operational level across departments aligned to the Customers needs - Effective change management & communication
Demonstrate advanced planning and organisational skills in a technical environment - Break down silos, embed end- to-end systemic thinking
Organise steering committees of relevant stakeholders for digital projects - Minutes of meetings and follow up on action steps
Enable users to adapt to new technology and use of software - Training and ongoing end user support
Manage internal IT department
Manage the companys internal IT department - Support and improve the internal IT systems within agreed budgets
Identify skills required to drive digital transformation
