Core Responsibilities:
Digital & IT Systems Setup
Set up a
professional IT system
across multiple brands (email, storage, backups, user access) Recommend & implementbest IT practices
for startups in:Transport
(fleet management, GPS, comms)Retail/e-commerce
(POS, website integrations)Book publishing
(Amazon, Shopify, author platforms)Home healthcare
(patient records, bookings, CRM)Company Filing & Document Systems
Organize company files using
SharePoint, OneDrive, or Google Workspace
Create logical folder systems per department (HR, Finance, Marketing, Ops) Train staff on naming conventions, folder use, permissionsCybersecurity & Password Management
Set up
Bitwarden, 1Password, or Google Password Manager
Create secure admin logins + shared staff vaults Implement2FA (two-factor authentication)
across all logins Secure websites, emails, and devices with basic protectionCloud & Backup Systems
Set up automatic backups to cloud (OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox) Ensure offline backups for critical business data Recommend best cloud tools for small business workflows
Tech Tools & Software Integration
Audit existing tools and recommend improvements Integrate
email, website, social media, and customer communication
Build simple dashboards or automation for visibility and easeOngoing Guidance & Training
Stay up to date with
new tools for small business efficiency
Provideteam training + documentation
Be available forad hoc support
and growth consultingMust-Have Skills
Experience in
small business IT setups
Fluent inMicrosoft 365, Google Workspace, WordPress, Wix, Shopify
Strong withemail setup, domain management, security protocols
Knowledge of small biz software:Canva, Trello, Meta Suite, CRM tools
Bonus: knowledge oftransport apps, e-commerce, medical admin tools
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: R150,00 - R250,00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Monavoni, Gauteng
