AECOM is seeking a Digital Solutions Simulation and Reporting Analyst in support of our Enterprise Digital Solutions Hub. This position offers a hybrid schedule work environment, 3 days in office, 2 days remote and can be based in a variety of global locations, to include various offices within Romania, Spain and South Africa.

This position will be responsible for managing a challenging and fast-moving Digital PMIS development support team at one of the world's largest construction companies, including:

  • Working with other developers in the design, configuration, testing, debugging, documentation, delivery, and support of a custom developed system for Oracle Unifier with modules for forecasting, estimating, bidding, project management, accounting, and document/communication control.
  • Managing fast response to critical Digital PMIS needs from our program teams, leading in stakeholder communications and executive relations to support problem resolution and proactive planning.
Your critical thinking skills will be exercised along with motivational and problem-solving talents. An ideal candidate will be excited about preventing issues, and consistently contribute to the progression of the support team.
  • Extensive technical knowledge and experience with Unifier, Oracle, SQL Server, and Reporting Solutions
  • Run an effective technical application support team, combining strong technical acumen and a service orientation.
  • Foster a strong working relationship and communication level with Digital PMIS staff, project team members, and all levels of management across Global Capabilities team and business partners.
  • Ability to communicate, educate, provide recommendations, and deliver solutions to improve, enhance and drive optimization and best practices to the solutions for the Digital PMIS business.
  • Create and manage project plans, resource allocation and timelines. Ensure project plans, timelines and scope commitments are consistently met. Report on project status to Digital PMIS Management.
  • Manage escalations and coordinate resolution efforts with key stakeholders (internal and external) by working cross-functionally to ensure issue ownership, action items, and communications get fulfilled.
  • Handle difficult or escalated customer issues with diplomacy and tact, ensuring issues are resolved in an effective, professional, and timely manner.
  • Build strong relationships, resulting in a positive and productive outcome for employees and customers.
Position Summary:
  • Works under general supervision.
  • Keeps Management advised as to status of assignment(s) with respect to schedule, budgets, delays, and adverse problems.
  • Provides technical assistance and guidance to team members.
  • Assists in the training and evaluation of assigned technical personnel.
  • Continually upgrades technical knowledge and capabilities.
  • Assures quality, quantity, and completeness of assigned tasks.
  • Plans and schedules discipline efforts associated with assignment(s).
  • Assures the timeliness and accuracy of oral and written technical reports on assigned discipline activities.
  • Maintains proper files and records.
  • Performs a variety of other discipline related work, as required.
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
  • BA/BS + 2 years of digital analytics experience and/or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and have excellent problem-solving, as well as analytical abilities.
Preferred Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, Software Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience executing with the following technologies Unifier, Other Oracle tools SQL, HTML, JavaScript, Oracle Analytics or other Reporting Applications and other technologies as defined.
  • Solid understanding of full software development lifecycle including functional & technical specification, development, documentation, support QA processes, existing source control, and maintenance
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to review project objectives and translate them into detailed tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, concise manner.
  • Previous experience reporting with Oracle Unifier
