Job Summary Job Purpose
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and optimising digital, brand and campaign initiatives that drive lead generation, customer engagement, and overall business growth. The role supports strategic digital innovation, CRM optimisation, supplier and product-based campaigns, paid media execution, and call centre alignment.
Digital Campaigns & Lead Generation

  • Brief, execute and optimise digital and brand campaigns across all platforms.
  • Manage internal campaigns including SMS, referral programmes, supplier product campaigns and ongoing paid digital initiatives.
  • Drive lead generation targets.
  • Measure and report on ROI per campaign to ensure competitive CPA (Cost per acquisition) or CPL Cost per Lead on Fundi platforms.
  • Secondary liaison between Agencies and Internal Fundi Marketing team.
  • Increase impressions and website traffic by approximately 10%.
  • Support the growth of online shop/technology platforms related to digital acquisition.
Digital Innovation & Strategic Project Support
  • Champion digital lead acquisition via channels such as WhatsApp and Zoho CRM.
  • Deliver digital innovation projects such as customer testimonial videos, landing page initiatives, automation projects, and other strategic enhancements.
  • Manage CRM and WhatsApp-based lead follow-ups, surveys and campaign execution.
  • Upload and maintain supplier banners, categories, and product visibility across digital platforms.
  • Ensure digital assets and tools include correct customer touchpoints, such as WhatsApp contact details.
Internal Operations, Administration & BAU
  • Provide digital marketing support to the call centre to improve lead routing and conversion.
  • Coordinate supplier incentive initiatives, including management, execution and invoicing.
  • Manage creative briefs, marketing activations, roadshows, and internal marketing engagement content.
  • Drive social media growth, brand engagement coverage posts and maintain consistent digital presence.
  • Coordinate recurring digital media meetings and ensure alignment with tech suppliers.
  • Ensure on time communication and updates to the sales team.
Stakeholder & Brand Management
  • Contribute to positive brand perception through customer-facing engagement and testimonial initiatives.
  • Support delivery of brand engagement activities
  • Improve organic traffic and impressions by 10%.
  • Maintain or improve service experience ratings (e.g., service score of 4/5)
Reporting, Data & Analytics
  • Submission of monthly, quarterly (SETCO) and annual reports accurately and on time.
  • Compile, analyse and present digital campaign performance reports internally and externally.
  • Produce shop performance reports, call centre engagement and feedback summaries, and incentive reports.
  • Execute recommendations arising from analytics and performance insights.
  • Maintain high-quality reporting standards for suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Requirements Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree/Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, or related.
  • Certifications advantageous: Google Ads, GA4, Meta, LinkedIn, SEO.
  • 2-3 years' experience managing paid media, SEO, email/automation, web and analytics.
  • Experience in financial services/education or regulated environments is advantageous.
  • Proven track record delivering lead-gen and conversion targets.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems such as Zoho, email automation tools & marketing platforms.

  • Ability to learn new digital platforms quickly.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies.
  • Ability to coordinate marketing collateral, digital content execution, and brand aligned activations.
