Job Summary Overall Job Purpose:

This role is responsible for the development and execution of the client experience, digital and data. Given the strategic importance of these business functions, the primary focus of the role is to ensure a consistent and market-leading strategy across ARO Digital for the delivery of all clients and colleagues facing platforms.



Key accountabilities

Accountability: Strategy and Execution

  • Accountable for formulating the digital strategy across ARO Digital, with a strong focus on transactional and flow products and services. This should include but not limited to, client & colleague platforms and frameworks.
  • Design the end-to-end engagement model for clients digitally and ensure the correct processes across infrastructure are aligned for execution.
  • Market Research thought leadership as well as develop digital partnership strategies to accelerate delivery.
  • Accountable for the setting of all client, channel and go-to-market strategies and integrating these strategies and strategic delivery roadmaps to enable the desired commercial shape and customer experience in partnership with product and coverage.
  • Manage and align key stakeholders across markets, transactional banking, risk, compliance, operations, service as well as other infrastructure areas.
  • Manage and prioritise a portfolio of existing and new solutions from idea generation and business evaluation to execution and scale.
  • Work with client franchise to develop and own the CX measures as well as digital execution components to generate agreed outcomes.
  • Drive the strategy around the marketing of digital solutions and ensure presence in all relevant market forums.
  • Ensure realisation of efficiency gains and cost benefit realisation as per agreed outcomes.
  • Review the digital product offering and profitability on an ongoing basis to determine its penetration to the market, validate budget and make recommendations to expand and maintain current investment priorities.
  • Run Digital portfolio sessions across all key product areas to ensure priority is given to resources, allocation of funding as well as strategic execution.
  • Proactively identify risks and institute remedial measures to reduce undesirable exposure in the market.
  • Monitor and make sure that all products and related activities comply with the relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance to Group policies and guidelines in terms of new product approval, etc. and stay abreast of the changes.
  • Document and update the necessary digital product processes, forms and manuals including both internal and external documents/forms and information.
  • Drive ongoing infrastructure analysis, capacity planning and strategic direction to ensure alignment to the product strategy.
  • Assess any potential issues (pricing or key features of the product) in achieving the projected numbers and develop plans to address them.
Accountability: Client Experience and Solution design
  • Establish a close working relationship with other value chain components and key stakeholders to ensure a holistic, integrated approach to the client.
  • Develop and execute on CX measures across sales, services and product feature delivery.
  • Develop and continuously improve overall client experience across the digital estate.
  • Build team and capability to co-create client solutions, work across client and product to ensure the sales and commercialisation approach meets revenue ambitions
  • Set standards, frameworks and methodologies across ARO Digital for platform enablement as well as overall client experience.
Accountability: Analytics
  • Run the analytics function across ARO Digital. Develop analytics and analytics enablement strategy for execution against data assets.
  • Partner with client and product to ensure analytics skills are deployed against strategic priorities and the leveraging of our data capability to drive revenue, improve experience and efficiency as well as reduce risk.
  • Manage the platform analytics capability to ensure we are data led in decision making and collaborate with technology to ensure our data architecture is future fit.
  • Assume responsibility for performance monitoring and proactive management of the products/channels by understanding the key performance drivers including behavioral trends, financial indicator and growth/performance metrics.
  • Monitor activity and identify trends in product usage with the potential for risk and address these by investigating and driving actions to mitigate.
Accountability: Product and Proposition Design
  • Run the CX, UI, UX team ensuring our digital assets are built in line with a consistent client experience.
  • Embed new ways of work around proposition design and execution of design thinking into our product and proposition squads.
  • Drive the strategy execution of ensuring we approach our digital proposition builds with the right focus on client and colleague design.
Accountability: Digital Enablement
  • Manage the team responsible for embedding new ways of work (agile), culture transformation as well as all commercialisation orchestration.
  • Run the training, client activation as well as communication and change management of all digital programs of work.
  • Manage the team scorecards, measures of success, performance and overall team operations.
Accountability: Industry and Group Collaboration
  • Participate in industry events and thought leadership representing CIB.
  • Collaborate across the organisation to execute on initiatives that require retail, corporate, business bank as well as Africa Regional operations.
  • Engage in networking activities, e.g., attending relevant industry conferences, to stay abreast of changes in the industry, aligning portfolio specific processes, product offering and procedures to absorb the impact of change.
Accountability: Leadership
  • Develop and implement a talent management strategy focusing on building a pipeline of high performing teams.
  • Coach and mentor teams and emerging talent; and ensure there is proper succession planning in place.
  • Embed the firmxe2x80x99s performance management principles and processes.
  • Participate in talent sourcing; and implement the firmxe2x80x99s diversity and transformation agenda.
Accountability: Financial sustainability and effective use of resources
  • Participate in annual planning and review STP, MTP and RAF budgets to incorporate wholesale execution priorities
  • Ensure the business unit has sufficient resources to deliver on client commitments
  • Drive innovation to ensure long term sustainability of the business
Education

Bachelor's Degree: Information Technology
