Digital Commerce: Product Delivery & Release Manager



Purpose Summary




The

Product Delivery & Release Manager

orchestrates multiple releases and dependencies across teams, focusing on timelines, quality and delivery consistency with emphasis on coordinated roll out of digital products.


Plays a pivotal role in the end-to-end delivery and release lifecycle of key product features. Acting as the operational anchor between product strategy and deployment execution, the manager drives dependable

release outcomes

by running a lean, auditable release system and an aligned, cross-functional delivery cadence.


Key Responsibilities




Release Management



Keep leadership informed with concise metrics and risk visibility; align to seasonal/regulatory business needs. Own the

release calendar & policy

, readiness gates, and facilitates

go/no-go

decisions; run the cutover

command center

and rollback/roll-forward plans. Oversee the release lifecycle, ensuring timely and compliant deployments across environments. Coordinate with Product Owners, DevOps, integrated system owners, Architects and Software Engineers to facilitate releases. Consider business readiness as input into the release approval. Operate

CAB-light, audit-strong

: approvals, test/security signoffs, and traceability from Epic Feature Story Change. Maintain a

release risk register

; run pre-mortems and capture lessons into backlogs. Manage exceptions, deviations, and escalations in the release process. Facilitate production validation of each release.

Channel & Stakeholder Communication



Chair and coordinate daily release meetings to ensure visibility, alignment, and issue resolution across teams. Ensure communication and alignment across Back End, Customer App, Picker App, and Web channels regarding outstanding key tickets and trunk merges to maintain release cadence. Chair a

daily release huddle

for visibility and issue resolution; keep

channel

owners synced on scope, merges and impacts. Publish crisp customer/exec comms for major releases and coordinate

continuous production validation

post-release. Guide and support the Release Coordinator in managing and executing releases for relevant features (non-Epics), ensuring proper planning and stakeholder engagement. Ensure continuous production validation is executed and coordinated for production bugs, maintaining operational integrity and customer experience.

Assigned Features Delivery Management



Manage and track cross-functional delivery and dependencies for applicable assigned features across Product, Engineering, Operations, and Tech compliance teams. Support Epic Owners in deployment approach and alignment with business milestones Ensure delivery processes in corporate governance, compliance, and seasonal business requirements. Unblock impediments that prohibit channel-specific releases, ensuring testing and delivery focus aligns with immediate priorities per channel.

Team Leadership



Lead/mentor Release Coordinators (standards, playbooks, on-call rotation, dashboards). Coach Epic Owners on slicing, dependencies, and rollout with feature flags and progressive exposure.

Qualifications & Experience




Degree in Business Management, Engineering or related field - (essential) 4+ years in delivery or release management within a product-led or platform organization. Proven experience in coordinating integrated platform product rollouts and deployments. Experience in custom built software delivery environments. Strong understanding of Agile, SAFe, and hybrid delivery models. Hands on experience with CI/CD, deployment patterns and observability. Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. Familiarity with Agile tools (e.g., JIRA, Target Process) and release management platforms.
