Job Description


We are looking for a Digital Campaign Manager to join our team based at our clients Head Office.

Summary

To provide daily support to the Digital Brand Manager with regards to the day-to-day management of Website, Social, Mailer, Paid Media and content production.

Key duties include being responsible planning, briefing, budgeting, tracking and reporting for digital activity across the brand. Conduct research and utlise insights to optimise and grow the success of owned media and paid digital channels.

Managing a portfolio of work as well as working with brand teams across the department to create integrated marketing campaigns. A strong dedication to organisation is required in our busy department.

Key performance areas

Digital campaign management

  • Assist the wider brand team with strategies and/or tactics for website, social, mailer and paid digital marekting activities.
  • Liaise with department heads to identify digital opportunities for marketing campaigns as per the business activity calendar.
  • Liaise with agencies and brand teams directly for creative and media campaign briefs, requirements, schedules, reporting and feedback.
  • Provide structural and creative feedback to brand teams, agencies and relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Manage the companyxe2x80x99s email marketing campaigns from breifing to deployment.
  • Manage the companyxe2x80x99s social media campaigns from briefing to posting as well as responsind to consumer queries.
  • Manage the companyxe2x80x99s website campaigns from briefing to go live.
  • Manage the companyxe2x80x99s paid media activity for campaign from briefing to actiation.
  • Keep the brand up to date with changes and advances in the digital marketing landscape and advising on new channels and approaches to adopt.
Digital account Management
  • A strong ability to keep schedules, prioritise tasks / briefs and ensure campaings / projects are on time and deliver against business objectives.
  • Work closely with agencies or suppliers and review their strategies, media schedules or budgets against business needs.
  • Manage the companyxe2x80x99s mailer calendar and ensure on-going consumer acquisition to improve the health of the business database.
  • Manage the companyxe2x80x99s daily and monthly social media calendar. Ensure learningxe2x80x99s from each month are shared across business to ensure continued improvement in our social efforts.
  • Manage the companyxe2x80x99s website and ensure overall health of the site to ensure continued improvements in traffic.
  • Liase with teams and/or departments across the business to enusre their needs are managed and supported via our digital channels.
  • Answer day-to-day queries to assist in growth in digital understanding and investment across the business.
  • Have a positive can-do attitude and be a problem solver.
  • Ensure accuracy across digital channels.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the Brand and its Guidelines to be able to apply across all work done on digital.
Stakeholder liaison
  • Liaise with internal departments as required
  • Liaise with external agencies and provide support in executing effective digital plans
  • Engage with relevant internal & in country stakeholders that will support campaign objectives.
Digital research and reporting
  • Conduct weekly reports on digital activity for senior stakeholders.
  • Conduct quarterly health reviews of digital channels and define clear insights and learnings to apply to ongoing digital strategy for the business.
  • Learn and leverage the South African and African digital landscape and how platforms /channels impact communications.
  • Conduct digital audits and assist with overall online brand research that will support the ongoing growth of the consumer base that will feed back into the wider business strategy
  • Monitor Local & International Retailers digital media properties to ensure adherence to best practice principles, and provide technical/media assistance when needed.
  • Grow and oversee the digital communities, track and report all activity and ensure all brand & campaign objectives are being achieved.
Digital budget allocation and management
  • Set up & manage the monthly digital budget and ensure effective allocations across paid media and digital prodcutions requirements.
  • Ensure budgets are utlised against business requirements & brand objectives.
  • Liaise closely with agencies around budgets, briefing & optimizations
  • Review live paid media and optimise to reach goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and evalute the return on investment on digital marketing activities.
  • Propose and/or validate budget growth and/or reductions based on solid research / strategic insights.
Diploma or equivalent in Digital Advertising, Marketing or Communications is desirable.

1-2 years social media experience essential

1-2 years advertising experience desirable

1-2 years brand marketing experience essential

1-2 years digital marketing experience essential

Strong written and verbal communication skills is essential

Project management experience is essential

Office based, 9 hours per day, 5 days a week (no overtime)
