Job Description
Our client within the Turbo System Industry, situated in Cape Town, Northern Suburbs, is seeking a Diesel Apprentice to join their team.
Description
Mission Statement: Execute Service work according to agreed workflows and in accordance with company standard processes and safety
guidelines.
Deliver excellent customer service to satisfy customers.
In close cooperation with customer and other company teams, take
actions to identify new Service business opportunities for company.
Required skills:
Independent service activities of less complex nature
Supports in complex activities under regular oversight
Ability to multi-task with excellent time management skills and the capability to prioritize work
Attention to details and problem-solving skills
Prerequisite
A clear track record is required as travelling is necessity (police clearance)
A reasonable level of fitness is an advantage due to different working environments - high heat conditions is
common
Job requirements
Completed Grade 12 with Mathematics, Science and Technical Drawing
Carrying of hand tools, special tools, and lifting tackle from the quayside into a shipxe2x80x99s engine room is demanding
Working at heights and confined spaces is required at times
Travelling
Working offshore
Working extended hours at time
