Position Description

Volvo Trucks Southern Africa is affording dedicated candidates an opportunity to join an apprentice programme and later qualify as a Diesel Technician. Entry Requirements:

  • Completed NCV Level 4 certificate with the following compulsory subjects:
  • English First Additional Language.
  • Life Orientation.
  • Mathematics.
  • Engineering Fundamentals.
  • Engineering Technology.
  • Engineering Systems.
  • Automotive Repair & Maintenance.
OR
  • Completed N2 certificate with the following compulsory subjects:
  • Mathematics.
  • Diesel Trade Theory.
  • Engineering Science.
  • Industrial Electronics.
  • All subjects passed with a minimum of 50%.
  • Valid EC license will be an advantage, with or without PDP.
  • Applicants must be between 18 - 30 years old.
  • Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged groups.
  • Candidates must be physically fit and be prepared to undergo the medical examination.
  • Applications from the following locations will be considered: Johannesburg, Middelburg, Durban, Cape Town, and Bloemfontein.
