Clicks Polokwane DC has a Despatch Clerk Position available. To effectively support the Polokwane DC ensuring accurate recording of paperwork and assets, ensuring compliance to loading and despatch processes to achieve on time delivery to store as per schedule as well as minimize losses.
Job description
To ensure that the GIT's are managed to minimum amount of days as per set targets
To ensure swift resolution of customer queries
To manage the recycling of waste returns and ensure accurate statistical reporting to deadlines
To accurately manage outgoing and incoming assets according to the asset transfer process and resolve any queries promptly to ensure accurate balance on hand of assets
To adhere to statutory health and safety requirements, housekeeping standards and all other internal policies to ensure compliance
To manage the return of store IBT's between stores and to the RDC ensuring that it reaches its final destination secure and intact
To ensure KPI boards and are maintained and accurate
To ensure the accurate recording and submission of paperwork to the transporter at handover
Minimum requirements
Qualification and Experience required.
Matric
1 Year Administration experience
1 Year experience within distribution centre/logistics
Customer relations
Experience on warehouse management systems.
Job knowledge and related skills
Microsoft Office suite
Understanding of Logistics environment
Good organising skills
Communication ( Written and Verbal)
Attention to detail
Computer literacy
