Job Description

Deadline driven, customer focused individual with sound knowledge of Durban & surrounding suburbs required to coordinate all driver routes, ensuring that all deliveries are planned and coordinated timeously. This organized individual with high attention to detail will be required to: Coordinate the Driverxe2x80x99s local deliveries to ensure deadlines are met Coordinate cross border costing / freight & documentation Control and monitor the quality of packaged goods leaving the dispatch area Compile accurate and detailed reports for management Delivery notes to be sent to all DCxe2x80x99s via PDF format on a daily basis Ensure that every ticket has the correct freight cost and is loaded onto BC for costing Adherence to housekeeping standards, SHE & OSH act requirements with a xe2x80x9cZERO INJURYxe2x80x9d culture compliance Ensure all queries are resolved timeously QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Matric with at least 3-5 years relevant working experience Driverxe2x80x99s licence is essential: Code 08 Knowledge of Durban & surrounding suburbs and delivery routes Intermediate computer skills Minimum 5 years experience in the Distribution Industry PLEASE NOTE: Only short listed individuals will be contacted.
