Position: Desktop Support Intern
As a Desktop Support Intern, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our employees and ensuring the smooth operation of our computer systems. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our IT team and gain practical experience in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, as well as setting up and configuring new equipment.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Responding to and resolving help desk tickets in a timely manner
- Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
- Setting up and configuring new equipment for employees
- Assisting with network and server maintenance tasks
- Providing technical support for various software applications
- Documenting and maintaining accurate records of all support activities
- Assisting with IT projects and initiatives as needed
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of computer hardware and software
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
- Availability to work full-time for a period of 3 months
