Job Description
SUMMARY:
Design Engineer / Civil Technologist
- We are seeking experienced and driven Design Engineers/Technologists with 5-8 years' design experience in civil infrastructure projects.
- Prepare layout drawings, detailed design calculations, and construction drawings.
- Assist with compiling project specifications, tender evaluations, and final reports.
- Attend site handovers and project meetings.
- Apply technical knowledge to resolve engineering challenges and support contract administration.
- Contribute to cost estimates, cash flow projections, and project documentation.
- Ensure full compliance with Naidu Consulting's Quality Management System (QMS).
- Promote safety and quality control in all design processes.
- BTech or BSc Eng in Civil Projects.
- 5-8 years' design experience in civil engineering projects.
- Proficient in Civil 3D, Revit, Word, Excel, and preferably Bill.
- Knowledge of SANS and experience compiling project specifications.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong administrative and organizational ability.
- Valid driver's license and own transport essential
