Introduction
The role is located in Johannesburg at CDM (Lea Glen) and is responsible for the national delivery of courier medicine parcels to members of key medical aid customers (Discovery Health) and other scheme and private customers.
Job description
Job Purpose:

  • The employee is responsible for ensuring script processing and delivery to customer is within agreed SLA'S
  • Focusing on ensuring compliance to SAPC regulations and GPP
  • The employee is also responsible for quality management within CDM
  • The employee will be responsible for CDM Dispensary Operations when medication is dispatched from CDM
Job Objectives:
  • Act as responsible pharmacist (when required) for Clicks Direct Medicines courier pharmacy, ensuring all GPP and SAPC requirements are met throughout the entire medicines courier delivery process
  • Focusing on customer service in line with Business requirements
  • Ensure daily script processing targets are met
  • Continuously review internal processes and customer feedback to make adjustments to the process where required
  • Help improve other income by ensuring generic switching
  • Manage data validation supervisor to ensure teams meet the required SLA objectives
  • Monitor, follow up and report IT issues to assist with stabilisation of IT platform.
  • Manage CDM operations to ensure medication is claimed and dispensed into the hubs at least 3 days prior to due date
  • Mange CDM Dispensary Operations to ensure medication is dispatched from the CDM dispensary in line with agreed processes
  • Ensure systems are in place to maintain adherence to POPI requirements
  • Trend and report on escalations to assist in resolving service and delivery issues
  • Assist RP with feedback to Pharmacy Council on any complaints where necessary
  • Ensure that all SOPs (both SAPC and Business-related) are regularly updated and distributed to all relevant staff.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports to management.
Minimum requirements
Experience and Education:
  • B.Pharm
  • Current registration with SAPC
  • Min 5 years as pharmacist operating in retail/courier environment
  • Healthcare services & products (Desirable)
  • Speciality medicine experience (Desirable)
