To develop and maintain a Valuation Roll for eThekwini Municipality.
Key Responsibility Areas
Develop, produce and maintain a valuation roll as provided for in terms of legislation.
Ensure that the valuation roll remains up to date.
Ensures the formulation and development of all relevant policies, procedures and programmes in respect of the Roll and financial imperatives.
Provide administrative and financial support to the valuation appeals board.
Ensure all fixed property acquisitions are efficiently and timeously concluded.
Manage and control staff and augment staff capacity/capabilities.
Develop, implement and maintain all necessary financial budgets.

Essential Requirements
Tertiary Qualification (NQF Level 7) in Property Valuations or Real Estate or any other related and equivalent qualification recognised by the South African Council for the Property Valuers Profession.
Registered as a Professional Valuer or Professional Associated Valuer without restrictions in terms of the Property Valuers Profession Act and the South African Council for the Property Valuers Profession.
Valid motor vehicle driving license.
8 years relevant post registration experience as a Professional Valuer or Professional Associated Valuer without restrictions of which 3 years must be at a Senior Management level.
Preferred Requirements
9 years relevant post registration experience as a Professional Valuer or Professional Associated Valuer without restrictions of which 4 years must be at a Senior Management level.
