ROLE SUMMARY:

To adopt a senior leadership role within the College ensuring the strategic and thorough leadership of educational excellence at Reddam House Constantia.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Is a professional Educator (consistently applies passion and a plan over time for the best development of our students and teachers) Is an active and supportive member of the SLT Responsibly lead the team to improved performance within a progressive and engaged environment Lead various school events and stakeholder engagements Establish and manage certain timetables Manage the student portals (iSAMS and CANVAS) Manage the onboarding of new teachers and student interns Lead all teacher education and development processes Manage teaching facilities and resources Lead the reporting process Teach an Academic subject, with proven success at Matric level, that is undertaken at Reddam

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Able to set clear expectations and stretch goals Adaptable teaching style incorporating feedback to parents and students A depth of understanding requirements in the relevant grades Teaches with passion and a plan Ability to judge learning effectiveness Proficient in English Take responsibility and assist with the mentorship of all new staff members. Be approachable and caring to students, parents and colleagues Professionally address conflict ensuring that all school policies and procedures are upheld. Be proactive and responsible to all areas of action. Communicate clearly, accurately and frequently to all stakeholders Experience in leading a high performing team A minimum of 3- 5 years experience in a leadership and management role will be advantageous. University qualification Certified Teaching Status SACE accredited
