Job brief
We are looking for an experienced DEPLOYMENT TECHNICIAN to install, configure, and maintain software and hardware systems while ensuring they function correctly for end-users and clients
Responsibilities
Install, configure, and deploy software.
Roll out new applications, updates, or patches across the organisation.
Support system migrations.
Perform testing, validation, and user acceptance support.
Train or assist end-users on new software configuration.
Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards.
Technical Skills
Knowledge of ITSM processes (incident, request, change, problem, asset management). Experience with ITSM tools (HaloITSM, ManageEngine, etc.). Strong grasp of Windows OS, Office 365/Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and common enterprise apps. Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN). Hardware troubleshooting and deployment (laptops, desktops, printers, mobile). Understanding of security practices (password policies, MFA, patching). Scripting/automation (PowerShell, Bash) is desirable.
Soft Skills
Customer service and communication. Problem-solving and analytical thinking. Ability to work under SLAs/pressure. Documentation and knowledge sharing. Team collaboration. Project Management.
Optional Certifications
ITIL Foundation CompTIA A+ / Network+. Microsoft certifications (MD-100/MD-101, Azure Fundamentals).
