Dental Assistant - Century City

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage the

dental clinical environment

before, during, and after patient care.

Sterilise instruments

and disinfect all surfaces and equipment. Monitor

infection control

and manage sterilisation and hazardous waste processes. Prepare

dental materials and instruments

for clinical procedures. Ensure

patient comfort

and assist with patient needs during treatment. Provide

clinical assistance using four-handed dentistry

, including instrument transfer and suctioning. Record

patient data

during interviews, oral assessments, and treatment.

Process dental radiographs

as required. Maintain and care for

dental equipment

in the clinical environment. Assist the oral health practitioner during

medical or clinical emergencies

.

Requirements:

HPCSA registration

(essential)

Practical dental assisting experience

(advantageous)

Customer care and computer literacy

essential Knowledge of

dental software

is a plus Excellent

organizational skills

and attention to detail A positive attitude and willingness to learn
