We are seeking a talented and motivated Demi Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. The Demi Chef de Partie will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of high-quality dishes, ensuring the kitchen operates efficiently, and maintaining food safety and hygiene standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation:
Assist in the preparation of menu items, including chopping, slicing, and cooking as directed by senior chefs.
Station Management:
Manage a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., grill, saute, pastry) and ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
Quality Control:
Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure it meets our culinary standards.
Recipe Adherence:
Follow recipes and instructions from senior chefs to maintain consistency in food preparation.
Stock Management:
Assist in maintaining inventory levels, including monitoring and replenishing supplies as needed.
Sanitation and Safety:
Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times, ensuring the cleanliness of the work area and equipment.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with other chefs and kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service.

Training:
Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role in a high-volume kitchen is preferred.
Culinary school or relevant certification is a plus.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality dishes.
Working hours: 08:00-17:00, occasional evenings. One weekday off per week and one full weekend off per month.
Job Type: Seasonal, but can change to permanent position.
Pay: Depending on experience.
