Job Description
Job SummaryHire Resolve's client, a Food Manufacturing Company, is currently seeking an experienced Demand Planner to join their team based in Somerset West. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a well-established company in the food industry.Responsibilities:
- Analyze historical sales data and market trends to develop accurate demand forecasts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators such as customer demand, production capacity, and inventory levels
- Generate production plans and schedules based on demand forecasts
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials
- Manage inventory levels to optimize stock availability and minimize waste
- Continuously review and improve demand planning processes and systems
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in demand planning in the food manufacturing industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and forecasting software
- Experience with Syspro
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
- Salary: negotiable
