Youll be responsible for balancing company resources what customers want, all while keeping costs in check and maintaining quality standards. This involves overseeing the supply of materials, services, and products needed to meet customer demands.

Develop and prepare demand forecasts across various levels and timeframes, supporting annual, monthly, and weekly forecasting processes. Coordinating with different departments is crucial to ensure the satisfaction of customer demands, so youll need to regularly report to executive management on demand plan variances and proposals is a key responsibility. Utilising a collaborative approach, youll work with marketing, finance, logistics, and operations teams to ensure the accuracy of demand forecasts. Continuous engagement with stakeholders is necessary to align lead times effectively. Additionally, youll also ensure the availability of necessary packaging materials for operational processes and involves coordinating and following up on quality claims.

What were looking for in a Demand Planner:

Someone with the relevant Bachelors degree and at least 5 years related experience. Familiarity with the fruit industry and packaging is a plus! Youll also need to bring your strong expertise in developing procedures and systems to the table. If you have above-average knowledge of computerised systems and a thorough understanding of inventory management practices, even better!
