Debtors ManagerREF: KK596Market Related SalaryBrackenfell, Western CapeOur client is looking for an energetic Debtors Manager to effectively manage the Debtors functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and improving business and financial processes, managing the Debtors team, producing financial reports and planning for the long-term financial goals of the team and business.REPORTING TO THE GROUP FINANCIAL MANAGER, RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:Building strong relationships with stakeholders in the businessMonthly and weekly reporting to Business Units highlighting problem debtorsManaging all intercompany billingsMonth-end processing i.e. accurate matching customer payments to invoices, resolving customer queries, reporting accurate balances, ensuring customer control aligns with the GL, and ensuring unallocated payments are allocatedMonthly Debtors Balance ForecastingAccount receivable year end auditApproving bank activations for debit orders, and approving weekly debit order deductionsMaster Data maintenance i.e. vat no, contact detailsFormalising SOPs and embedding them in the team and businessRecruitmentFull team managementREQUIREMENTS:Knowledge of management accounting principles and practicesLeadership, people and interpersonal skills (ability to manage a large team)Ability to work independently as well as in a teamAbility to work under pressureGood communication skills - verbal and writtenAdvanced computer literacyDetailed knowledge of interest calculationsBudget / Forecasting knowledge
