Job Description
Introduction
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Senior Debtors Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will manage the full debtors function, ensuring timely payments, accurate reconciliations, and strong credit control across all customer accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all debtor accounts and ensure customers pay within agreed terms. Follow up on overdue payments and handle credit control professionally. Process and review credit applications in line with company policy and Allianz requirements. Prepare and present debtor reports to management. Reconcile customer accounts and resolve queries promptly. Initiate handovers for overdue or non-paying accounts when necessary.
Requirements:
Matric / Grade 12 (essential). Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar debtors or credit control role. Proficient in Pastel (Sage). Experience with Allianz credit insurance (advantageous). Strong financial and reconciliation background. Excellent communication and people skills. Friendly, professional, and able to work under pressure. Experience in group debtors management. (advantageous)
