Debtors Controller

Our client in the FMCG Packaging industry is currently looking for a Debtors Controller, in Aeroton, Johannesburg.Responsibilities:

Ensure smooth business operations by offering hands-on support to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in administrative functions.
Additionally, proactively manage day-to-day debt collection procedures to support the organization's cash position.
Processing of Cash Book source documentation relating to payments and receipts timeously and accurately daily.
Processing of customer invoices and credit notes daily.
Daily and timeously follow up on debtorsxe2x80x99 collections and handle customer queries relating to requests for copy invoices or proof of delivery.
Prepare Debtors Age Analysis with Comments Weekly.
Reviewing Credit limits and details on Customer.
Opening new Customer accounts and credit checks.
Distribute Customer statements monthly.
Assist the Accountant in the preparation and completion of month-end books to Trial balance.
Perform any ADHOC duties as required by Accountant/Financial Manager
Handling of Petty Cash box
Selected General Leger reconciliations and Journals that go with them
Preparing monthly End Reports for the Head Office
