Job Purpose
To oversee the validation and processing of returned goods, maintain accurate records, coordinate with
various departments, and contribute to continuous process improvement within the DC.
Key Accountabilities
Proof of Delivery (POD) - Truck Return to Debrief
xc3xafxe2x80x9a Validate and reconcile successful deliveries in SAP, ensuring accuracy in load reconciliation and
closure.
xc3xafxe2x80x9a Physically inspect and verify Clean POD (Received in Full) against invoices and customer claims.
xc3xafxe2x80x9a Verify claims between the log and Return Area physically.
xc3xafxe2x80x9a Conduct Load Recon (by reason)/Closure in SAP, ensuring accurate documentation of claims and
returns.
Processing Returned Stock
xc3xafxe2x80x9a Receipt returned stock into We Think system promptly and accurately.
xc3xafxe2x80x9a Conduct physical inspection of returned items, differentiating between saleable and unsaleable
goods.
xc3xafxe2x80x9a Move saleable returns to designated bins efficiently.
xc3xafxe2x80x9a Check case and pallet returns to validate stock to be booked back into Finished Goods, Damages or
Quarantine
Truck Return Validation
xc3xafxe2x80x9a Offload stock to returns cage, conducting thorough verification against documentation.
xc3xafxe2x80x9a Physically check all stock returns for quality and completeness.
xc3xafxe2x80x9a Complete Returns Log (Register) accurately, detailing all validated returns.
Upliftment
xc3xafxe2x80x9a Process Uplift Requests received via email promptly and accurately, coordinating with relevant
departments.
xc3xafxe2x80x9a Verify uplifted items upon truck arrival at the DC.
xc3xafxe2x80x9a Physically inspect returned items, ensuring compliance with uplift requests.
xc3xafxe2x80x9a Move sellable returns to designated bins in We Think system.
Debriefing Clerk

Administration
xc3xafxe2x80x9a Scanning, filing and archiving of relevant documents.
xc3xafxe2x80x9a Providing general administrative support where required.
Adherence to the Quality, Food Safety, Health, Safety and Environmental Standards
xc3xafxe2x80x9a Adherence to Standards: Ensure strict adherence to Quality, Food, Health, Safety and
Environmental policies and standards.
xc3xafxe2x80x9a Enforcement: Enforce all food safety and health regulations, policies, and requirements at all times
to guarantee a secure work environment.
xc3xafxe2x80x9a Personal Hygiene: Maintain exceptional personal hygiene as per the organizations code of conduct.
xc3xafxe2x80x9a Contamination Control: Raise awareness about potential physical product contamination and
implement control measures to prevent it.
xc3xafxe2x80x9a Health and Safety Measures: Take reasonable precautions to prevent health and safety hazards.
Follow the prescribed incident reporting procedure in case of accidents.
xc3xafxe2x80x9a Knowledge and Compliance: Stay updated with relevant business information, policies, processes,
and procedures. Enforce compliance with legislative and statutory requirements, as well as GMPs
(Good Manufacturing Practices).
xc3xafxe2x80x9a Training: Attend and enforce the implementation of learnings from training sessions related to
Quality, Food Safety, and Health and Safety.
xc3xafxe2x80x9a Housekeeping: Maintain high levels of cleanliness and orderliness within the work environment
