Position: Dealer Principal



Location: Hyundai Cape Town



Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dealer Principal to oversee the day-to-day operations of our automotive dealership. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing dealership operations, driving sales, and delivering exceptional customer service. The Dealer Principal will be responsible for managing a team of sales professionals, service technicians, and administrative staff, as well as developing and implementing strategies to increase profitability and achieve business objectives.



Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue and increase market share Manage and coach a team of sales professionals, service technicians, and administrative staff to ensure high performance and customer satisfaction Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as sales targets, customer satisfaction scores, and profitability, and make data-driven decisions to improve performance Oversee day-to-day operations, including inventory management, financial reporting, and compliance with company policies and procedures Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, industry partners, and the local community to drive business growth and brand awareness Lead and motivate the team to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement


Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field 5+ years of experience in automotive dealership management, with a proven track record of success Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and dealership management software Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions Strong understanding of automotive industry regulations and compliance requirements
