Job Description


: The opportunity:Overall management facilitate and co-ordinate receipt of suppliers/ customers' orders/goods and returns into the DC, which entails system validation and data integrity. Strong focus on KPA's. Responsible for co-ordination of teamwork, management of the staff and initiate and identify individuals training and development needs of staff.Reporting to Process ManagerTFG Logistics DurbanHave a clear sense of purpose and understand the companies immediate and long-term goals.Create a culture of continuous learning. Strong leadership and people management skills.
Responsibilities:

  • Manage and plan day to day operations of the departments.
  • Review and improve distribution processes and workflows to create efficiencies.
  • Maintain and ensure OHASA and DC Rules compliance.
  • BOP, Group Policies and Procedures and values adhered to.
  • Identify and report on key metrics.
  • Budget and cost control.
  • Manage, drive, and achieve the KPI's relating to cost.
  • Daily, weekly targets to be achieved.
  • CPU and UPH targets to be achieved.
  • People Management - manage own personal development through performance management IDP/PDD and talent development/management process.
Requirements:
  • Grade 12 - Post Matric supply chain logistics qualification would be an advantage
  • Leadership/ People Management experience
  • Microsoft - Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Distribution Centre systems knowledge. WMOS, MANHATTAN (RF scanners/printers)
