Data Management and Valuations Analyst - 9 months - GautengJob SummaryOur client in Banking is looking for a Data Management Analyst with comprehensive knowledge of Financial Instruments and strong understanding of HiPortfolio (Hiport) system. Your responsibilities will include: Maintaining the Client Reference Data, Market reference data of financial instruments and the valuation of these instruments.Performing a data quality and integrity functions across all data sets, resulting in accurate regulatory reporting, portfolio compliance reporting, accurate reporting to Institutional Clients and accurate valuations.Understanding the impact of Market Reference data and Valuations streams on different product areas. Troubleshooting the impact of pricing across a number of financial instruments.Checking that the price feeds have read through the various applications.Building awareness around manual and risky processes.You are required to have: 2 years investment operational experience.Data Management experience.Comprehensive knowledge of Financial Instruments.Strong understanding of HiPortfolio system.Understanding of how incorrect pricing can lead to breaks in the various daily reconciliations of portfolios and inaccurate client reference data maintenance.Analytical and Communication Skills.Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
