Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to shape a new data warehouse, develop scalable data pipelines, mentor junior talent, and partner with C-level stakeholders. You'll play a key role in delivering business-critical insights while establishing best practices in a modern Azure-centric environment.
Qualifications:

• BSc in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent
• Preferred certifications:

• DP-203 (Azure Data Engineer Associate)
• DP-600 (Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate)
• DP-700 (Fabric Data Engineer Associate)

Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience in Azure Data Services: Synapse, Data Factory, Databricks, SQL, etc.
• Proven hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric: Pipelines, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Semantic Models
• Strong T-SQL, PySpark, and Spark SQL skills
• Deep understanding of ETL/ELT, data governance, and security best practices
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Power BI Deployment Pipelines)
• Strong track record in designing Star Schema-based data models
• Experience using Power BI Premium/Embedded
• Experience leading and scaling data teams

KPA's:

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable Microsoft Fabric data pipelines
• Architect the data warehouse and ensure high-quality, secure data flows
• Manage data ingestion, transformation, and integration processes
• Develop and optimize semantic models and Power BI dashboards
• Partner with stakeholders to translate analytics needs into technical solutions
• Mentor and grow a data team, starting with an existing Analyst
• Maintain documentation, testing, and alignment with business requirements
• Own infrastructure performance, governance, and data reliability
