Main Function & Culture: As a Data Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining data systems that drive strategic decision-making. You will work in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment, collaborating with a team of experts to enhance voter and campaign data management through advanced analytics, ETL processes, and business intelligence tools.
Qualifications: xe2x9cx94xefxb8x8f Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
xe2x9cx94xefxb8x8f 5+ years of experience in software development.
xe2x9cx94xefxb8x8f Experience in software systems design and architecture.
Requirements: xe2x9cx94xefxb8x8f Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL advantageous).
xe2x9cx94xefxb8x8f Strong programming skills and problem-solving abilities.
xe2x9cx94xefxb8x8f Experience with data warehouses and ETL pipeline development.
xe2x9cx94xefxb8x8f Business Intelligence (BI) tools experience (dashboarding & visualization).
xe2x9cx94xefxb8x8f MongoDB experience (advantageous).
xe2x9cx94xefxb8x8f Excellent planning, attention to detail, and organisational skills.
xe2x9cx94xefxb8x8f Ability to work effectively under demanding schedules, including irregular hours.
Key Responsibilities: ? Data System Development Collaborate with development teams to design and build software systems for voter and campaign data.
? Ad-Hoc Reporting & Data Queries Generate reports and data insights as needed.
? Data Warehouse Development Build and integrate data from multiple sources into a centralised system.
? ETL Pipeline Development Design and manage data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
? Business Intelligence & Visualisation Create dashboards and tools to support campaign management and decision-making.
? Location: Cape Town Federal Head Office (On-Site).
