To compile source documentation for the collection of clinical research data and ensure that clinical research data is entered into the data entry system timely, accurately, and in accordance with GCP principles and protocol requirements
Location:
ILTBRU - Jose Pearson TB Hospital, Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth)
Key performance areas:
Accurate entry of research data to meet data entry timelines - including patient information where indicated
Monitoring of own data captured
Checking of CRFs (use source as CRF)
Setting up, checking, and maintenance of source documents
Preparing, checking, and maintaining CRF books(so far our source is used as a CRF)
Perform tasks delegated by the data manager
Perform Administrative duties
Communicate effectively with the data management team
Provide Effective and efficient telephonic and email communication
Take ownership and accountability for tasks and demonstrate effective self-management
Follow through to ensure that quality and productivity standards of own work are consistently and accurately maintained
Maintain a positive attitude and respond openly to feedback
Take ownership of driving own career development by participating in ongoing training and development activities
Required minimum education and training:
Grade 12
Required minimum work experience and abilities:
1 - 2 years experience as a Data Capturer
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
Office Administration experience
Desirable additional education, work experience, and personal abilities:
Working knowledge of data entry systems
GCP Trained
Computer skills
Background in HIV,
Fieldworker
