We're looking for a curious, analytical, and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our growing AI & Communications team. This role is ideal for a junior to mid-level analyst (0-3 years' experience) who enjoys working with real-world data, building dashboards, and uncovering insights that directly influence customer engagement and lead generation. You'll work closely with our Head of AI & Communications to analyse WhatsApp communication data, assess campaign effectiveness, test messaging strategies, and turn raw data into clear, actionable insights for the business.

Job description

Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc analyses to support business and communication decisions Extract, clean, and analyse data using Python (SQL desirable but not essential) Analyse WhatsApp messaging data, including: + Response rates and engagement
+ Effectiveness of message content
+ Lead conversion and performance trends
+ A/B testing and optimisation of messaging strategies
Translate data findings into clear insights and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders Support ongoing data quality, accuracy, and reporting improvements Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and business questions

Minimum requirements

Matric / National Senior Certificate 0-3 years' experience in a Data Analyst or similar analytical role Strong Python/SQL proficiency for data analysis Solid understanding of data analysis principles and reporting Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills * Ability to communicate insights clearly, both verbally and in writing
