Job Description
The above Temporary vacancy exists in our Packaged Gas department at our Witbank facility, reporting to the Facility Foreman. Qualified candidates who meet the requirements of the role are invited to apply.Overview & Key ResponsibilitiesThis role is responsible for the delivery and collection of Packaged Gas to and from internal & external customer sites safely and reliably. The key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: * Responsible for the pre-post journey checks of the vehicle;
- Responsible for the loading and offloading of cylinders;
- Ensure safe and efficient delivery and collection of cylinders at assigned destinations;
- Responsible for proper housekeeping and general ad hoc activities;
- Ensure SHERQ standards are constantly adhered to.
- A valid unendorsed EC Drivers License with PrDP;
- A valid Forklift licence;
- Must have valid Dangerous Goods Certificate;
- Must have own reliable transport;
- A minimum of 5 years in heavy duty driving experience;
- Must be experienced in transportation and handling of Dangerous Goods;
- Must be medically fit to perform physical work;
- Must be willing to work Flexi hours & overtime when required;
- Must be able to produce written reports on vehicle fitness and accurate delivery paperwork;
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills, specifically in English
