Job Description


Minimum requirements for the role:

  • A customer service management diploma or business administration diploma is preferred for this role.
  • Previous experience having worked within an internal sales management or related role ideally within an industry that manages stock and warehousing supplying into various manufacturing or distribution industries.
  • The successful candidate must have SAP or related experience.
  • Must have strong leadership and management skills.
  • Must have sound customer relationship management and communication skills.
  • Must be able to collaborate working closely with different divisions.
  • Experience in processes, procedures and operations management.
  • Must be computer literate with MS Office
  • Previous ISO and customer audit experience is preferred.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Managing the internal sales team to ensure that the customer services administrative teams are well trained and are able to provide a good service to clients and internal staff.
  • Managing of sales process systems (SAP) and familiarization of internal procedures (ISO) and maintenance and monitoring thereof to ensure strict alignment to SOPs.
  • Monitoring of work accuracy with regard to sales order processing pertaining to on time and in full invoicing and credit notes and overall sales process accuracy.
  • Managing internal and external customers requirements and expectations with pro-active follow up calls ensuring customers expectations from order acceptance, prevailing prices are adopted and aligned with the clusters prevailing monthly pricing.
  • Supporting divisions strategic plans through customer service excellence.
  • Establishing and maintaining ongoing rapport with existing and potential house account customers as well as identifying growth opportunities together with the cluster managers
  • Rolling out an effective customer service benchmarking program annually.
  • Pro- actively driving resolution of any disputes that may arise with customers.
  • Appropriately communicating brand identity to teams and customers.
  • Collaborating closely with sales and operations to ensure the key administrative functions form part of OTIF criteria.
