The Customer Service Specialist will be responsible for managing and executing both internal and external customer orders up to the confirmation stage. This includes providing proactive updates on order status, addressing customer inquiries and concerns, and delivering information about Air Products' offerings, including products and services. The key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:
1. Customer liaison by taking and processing customer orders.
2. Maintain and uphold quality standards consistently.
3. Participate actively in demand meetings to address operational needs.
4. Perform administrative duties efficiently and accurately.
5. Adhere to and promote safety protocols at all times.
6. Provide exceptional customer service to meet client expectations.
1. A minimum Grade 12 certificate;
2. A post-matric qualification in administration or equivalent;
3. At least 3 - 5 years of experience in a customer service administration environment;
4. Strong administrative, verbal, and written communication skills;
5. Must have good communication skills and telephone etiquette;
6. Must be customer-oriented and deadline-driven;
7. Proficient in MS suite and JDE system;
8. Must be flexible in terms of working hours;
9. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; 10. Own reliable transport.
