Europa Worldwide Group is an ambitious independent logistics operator with three divisions, Europa Road, Europa Air & Sea, and Europa Warehouse, and has been featured in The Sunday Times Top Track 250 for three years.

The group employs over 1,300 people with 15 sales offices in the UK, and the Republic of Ireland, plus European teams in France, Belgium and the Netherlands and internationally in Cape Town Hong Kong, China, India and the UAE.

We are looking for

We are looking for ambitious and driven Customer Service Executives with experience in Air and/or Sea Freight to join our dynamic, growing team in Cape Town!

Our office is based in Cape Town City Centre and the working hours are 10am-6:30pm/11am-7:30pm depending on the time of year. you would be required to travel into the office Monday-Friday. Please only apply if you can commit to this.

What you will be doing:

Customer Engagement: Be the primary point of contact for a dedicated portfolio of customers, forging strong, lasting relationships. Proactive Account Management: Tailor solutions to meet individual customer needs, generate quotes, and drive income opportunities. Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring service levels and financial targets are met or exceeded. Retention Focus: Achieve and surpass client retention targets by consistently delivering exceptional service. Collaborative Partnerships: Work closely with internal teams, including Operations and Business Development, to keep customers informed and satisfied. Sales Support: Assist with quote preparation, CRM updates, shipment organization, and milestone tracking. Financial Oversight: Monitor credit limits and ensure timely payment recovery for your portfolio. Problem Resolution: Address customer concerns promptly and effectively. Data Insights: Provide meaningful statistics to highlight service excellence for internal and external reviews.

Our Ideal Person:

A proactive, customer-focused individual with excellent communication skills. At least 2 years of experience in an Air & Sea Freight role Experience and knowledge in Air & Sea Freight Pricing Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple accounts seamlessly. Financial awareness and the ability to manage credit and debt recovery effectively. A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment.
