Role Summary
The Customer Service Consultant will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, promoting the benefits of fibre technology, and ensuring smooth operations.
This role requires a customer-focused mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, engaging, and understanding customer needs.
- Recommend suitable fibre solutions tailored to customer requirements.
- Address inquiries and customer concerns promptly, ensuring professional and ongoing support throughout the sales and installation process.
- Accurately capture customer orders using internal order management systems.
- Track and monitor order progress, keeping customers informed of backlogs, delays, or updates.
- Maintain a clean, well-organized store environment, including displays and marketing materials.
- Assist with stock control, monitoring inventory levels and supporting timely replenishment.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve sales targets.
- Matric / Grade 12
- Post Matric qualification in sales or customer service (Advantageous)
- Minimum 2 years
Our customers, made up of Internet Service Providers (ISPs), resellers, residential and business properties, and consumers are able to take advantage of an array of services to meet their needs. The MetroFibre services to businesses include: Dedicated Internet Access, High Speed Broadband Network Connectivity, Voice Over IP, IP transit, Layer 2 services, Data centre connectivity, enabling cloud connectivity and all of which is delivered on the back of a single MetroFibre Networx fibre Installation. Residential consumers services include Internet connectivity, VoIP and MetroFone App, MetroMesh Wi-Fi extender and Metro-I solution is available for Estates and complexes.
