This role sits at the intersection of CSR and brand activations, combining meaningful community engagement with dynamic on-the-ground marketing. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing RSAWEB's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives through its Connected Community Projects, managing trade exchange and MOU partnerships, and driving RSAWEB's brand presence through targeted marketing activations.
The role is both strategic and operational, focused on delivering scalable, visible impact that supports RSAWEB's growth and community reputation.
Key Objectives
1. CSR & Community Engagement (Connected Communities)
Lead the execution of RSAWEB's CSR efforts through Connected Community Projects with schools, NPOs, local businesses, and community groups.
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with community partners that align with RSAWEB's values and CSR objectives.
Support communities in using RSAWEB's connectivity meaningfully to improve education, upliftment, and digital inclusion.
Propose new CSR initiatives that align with RSAWEB's growth and community development goals.
Track and report on CSR project outcomes and brand impact.
2. Trade Exchanges & MOU Partnerships
Liaise with trade and community partners entering into MOUs or trade exchanges.
Ensure that all parties deliver on their agreed marketing, exposure, or service-related commitments.
Set up joint events, brand activations, or marketing collaborations as part of partnership agreements.
Track performance and impact of each trade or MOU initiative and report back internally.
3. Marketing Activations
Plan, coordinate, and execute RSAWEB marketing activations in targeted areas in collaboration with Fibre Network Operators (FNOs).
Book activation spaces, brief promotions teams, and manage logistics.
Oversee activations on the ground, ensuring strong execution and brand alignment.
Capture engaging content from activations for social media and reporting.
4. Marketing Materials & Merchandise Management
Source, coordinate, and distribute all marketing materials for activations and CSR initiatives.
Track inventory and usage of merchandise, brochures, branded items, etc.
Ensure all campaigns and projects have the right materials in the right places on time.
5. Digital & Social Media Support
Coordinate content creation with design/studio teams for campaigns, activations, and CSR stories.
Maintain a digital content calendar to reflect on-the-ground activities online.
Support the publishing of CSR stories, partner highlights, and activation recaps.
6. Internal & External Communication
Act as liaison between RSAWEB and FNOs, community partners, event venues, and vendors.
Ensure effective rollout of campaign messaging via email, SMS, and partner communications.
Communicate CSR success stories internally and externally to build brand advocacy.
Work closely with internal stakeholders to align CSR, activations, and marketing timelines.
7. Research, Reporting & Impact Measurement
Conduct research into new activation opportunities and community needs.
Report on activation success metrics, CSR project impact, and campaign outcomes.
Track all trade/MOU agreement fulfilment and performance.
Identify ways to improve RSAWEB's social and brand impact through future initiatives.
Requirements
Tertiary level qualification in Public Relations, Marketing or similar
At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
Willing to travel to different areas to engage with RSAWEB Partners such as schools or NGo's.
Excellent communication skills
Good computer literacy skills
Willing to work on weekends
Driver's License is required
