Expert in-house support and skills transfer.
Equipment troubleshooting, inspections and maintenance on Mobile and fixed Crushers.
Electric and Electronic fault finding, rewiring and harness assembly on Crushers, Yellow plant and Drill rigs.
Develop, modify, construct and install related equipment required for the safe operation of all engineering equipment.
Evaluation and training of operational personnel and assist with correct and efficient use of equipment.

Arrange and attend to planned Crusher strip down, measuring and review of internal wear mechanisms and exchange of wear parts.
Ensure units are operating within OEM limits by Identify abnormalities.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor manager.
Travel to various sites and work overtime as required

Requirements

Grade 12 certificate (preferably Technical)
5 xe2x80x93 10 years of experience as a heavy mobile equipment mechanic on surface mine site
Valid driverxe2x80x99s license
Millwright Trade Certificate.
Fitter trade certificate (will be an advantage).

Ability to troubleshoot engine, transmission and hydraulic and electrical issues.
Analytical thinker with auto-electrical and mechanical aptitude
Skill in repair and maintenance of Symons, Sandvic, Metso HP cones, Metso and Osborn Jaws.
