ABOUT THE ROLE:
Silvertree is seeking a candidate to work across the organisation, focused on data-driven Customer Relationship Management processes: the personalised and bulk messages we send customer via push, email, etc, to build engagement.
This role will involve cross-disciplinary work across almost all our brands, and all functions. You'll be working closely with senior leadership from the CEO down, our data, tech and marketing teams, and our other functions. This is an unparalleled opportunity to use technology to improve processes and customer experiences.
You can be either a mid-level experienced hire, with some years of relevant experience under your belt and hungry for rapid growth. Or, you can be a recent graduate, but with excellent academic results and relevant experimentation and side projects (paid or not) besides your qualification.
The ideal candidate is technically strong and willing to learn new systems, but also curious about how organisations work outside of just technology. You should also have a real interest telling compelling stories to customers.
We have a hybrid working arrangement, with offices in Woodstock in Cape Town, but support flexibility.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build personalised outgoing campaigns, working with data, tech and marketing teams
Build and maintain Whatsapp and chat-based commerce journeys
Improve and troubleshoot CRM tools and templates, e.g., tweak our generated HTML templates
Analyse and improve brand marketing campaigns (email, etc), working with marketing teams
Innovate and execute customer lifecycle management messages, across channels including email, SMS, Whatsapp, voice call, and physical deliveries
Use AI, automation tools (e.g, n8n) and CRM tools to make these journeys come to life.

REQUIREMENTS:
Experienced hires: 1+ years in a modern data-driven consumer organisation, in a relevant role, building personalised and/or automated CRM experiences
Graduate / junior: A relevant bachelors or higher degree from strong university, plus relevant side projects
Proven technical skills: not necessarily coding, but ability to use systems to create compelling experiences
Strong written communication and appreciation for effective marketing messaging
Proven experimentation with AI tools
Basic familiarity with HTML, CSS and the concepts of web APIs and webhooks
Strongly beneficial: Ecommerce experience, CRM experience
