Job Summary KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Full creditors function, this includes ensuring all creditors are captured, the processing of payments, journals, monthly reports and reconciliations. Maintaining accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions Verifying vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports Loading of payments on banking apps daily, weekly monthly. Obtaining approvals for all payments Confirming payee bank details Preparing supplier payments and load on the various banking systems. Processing of entries in the accounting system Preparing bank reconciliations. Processing of month-end journals as required. Any other related junior bookkeeping duties as required by Management. Maintaining the petty cash float. Using GTCs workflow to capture and store all payment and approval information. General finance administration and secretarial work for the finance team. Preparation and processing of cross border/international payments. Any other tasks assigned by the Head of Finance from time to time SKIILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 4 years experience as a Creditors & Cashbook Pastel experience required Experience on banking platforms required. Working knowledge of Excel PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES Excellent attention to detail Initiative Proactive Excellent organisational skills Ability to work under pressure Ability to work independently and within a team environment Professional at all times Friendly and helpful Ability to liaise professionally OFFICE HOURS 08:00 and 17:00 There will be occasions where the incumbent would need to work overtime
