We are on the hunt for a Credit Risk Analyst reporting to the Senior Manager.

What you'll be doing
Credit Risk Assessments: to evaluate the credit worthiness of individuals and businesses by analysing financial statements, credit reports and other relevant information, in order to identify potential financial vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate risk mitigation actions.
Portfolio Monitoring: to continuously monitor the performance of the credit portfolio, identifying early warning signs and taking proactive measures to address emerging risks.
Development of Credit Policies / Process Improvements: collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine credit policies and procedures, in order to align with business objectives and Group risk appetite.
Communication: to communicate credit decisions effectively, providing clear explanations and recommendations to stakeholders of varying seniority.
Merchant Interaction: where required, to attend calls and meetings with merchants in order to better understand the risk profile.
What you'll need

• Minimum 2 yearsxe2x80x99 experience as a Credit Risk Analyst (or similar), preferably within financial services. Experience gained in a payments firm is a plus.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Experience in interpreting financial statements and credit risk assessment methodologies.
• Attention to detail and discretion in handling sensitive information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (proficiency in Excel is a plus).
• Good understanding of the online payments space.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage multiple workstreams.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
• Must be dynamic and a self-starter, able to work independently and in a team.
