Credit And Risk Analyst

Requirements : * Grade 12, coupled with a Diploma or Batchelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field

In-Depth knowledge of Credit and Risk and minimum 5 years experience in Credit and Risk Department
Knowledge of relevant Legislation: NCA, FICA, POPI

Duties :

Compile Documents related to all customer applications
Ensure that FICA related and Internal documentation is received and up to date
Assess the completeness and expiry dates of all the received documents
Verification of all documentation is a requirement
Evaluate the customers credit worthiness by following the guidelines and using the system applications provided
Develop risk Profiles, set appropriate credit limits and make recommendations
Maintain up to date knowledge of industry trends, economic conditions and regulatory requirements
Monitor existing customer base for change in financial health, credit worthiness and market conditions
Prepare and distribute reports on customer performance, highlighting areas of concern and recommending measures to minimize risk exposure
Complete and return any adverse reports to Experian
Maintain strong internal and external relationships
