Creative Copywriter - Join a Purpose-Driven Pet Insurance Brand

What You'll Do
Marketing and Campaign Content
Write original, engaging copy for websites, emails, social media, ads, and direct marketing campaigns (acquisition, retention, re-engagement).
Tailor content to specific platforms and optimise for SEO and AIO.
Brand Tone and Consistency
Ensure consistent brand tone across all communications.
Refine messaging for clarity, emotional resonance, and impact.
Policyholder Communication
Create nurturing, upsell, and onboarding content for policyholder journeys.
Support automated flows via tools like HubSpot.
Collaboration and Content Fit
Work closely with digital marketers, designers, and content specialists to align copy with visuals and strategic goals.
Contribute ideas to content planning and campaign brainstorming.
Internal Communications
Write clear, engaging internal copy for staff newsletters, announcements, presentations, and ad hoc requests.
Where you'll work
Either remotely within South Africa or, at our office in the beautiful town of George in the heart of South Africa's stunning Garden Route.
Working hours will be semi-aligned to the Australian time zone: 06:00 to15:00 SA time giving you more free time later in your day!

The essentials you will need
Minimum 3 years of experience in a copywriting or content writing role, preferably in a consumer-facing or regulated industry.
Strong understanding of content strategy, digital marketing principles, and audience engagement.
Experience writing across multiple channels including websites, social media, email marketing, and internal comms.
Familiarity with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot) and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
Discipline and tenacity - comfortable in working across time zones and in a fully remote setting.
Time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Bonus Skills
Diploma in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or similar.
Familiarity with Australian insurance or financial regulations.
Awareness of accessibility and inclusive content practices.
