Prepare simple, fast desserts (e.g., mochi, puddings, parfaits).
Create light, easy-to-serve Asian Fusion meals (bao, rice bowls, noodles, gyoza).
Make fresh sushi to order.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily prep of ingredients in advance, considering limited space.
Preparing desserts and meals efficiently, using minimal equipment.
Assembling sushi fresh during service hours.
Maintaining a clean, organized prep area.
Managing small-batch production to reduce waste.
Supporting cafe team in serving during busy hours.
Ideal Skills (Advantageous, not Required):
Experience in small kitchens or cafe setups.
Familiarity with and knowledge about vegan cooking & dessert-making.
Familiarity with asian cuisine.
Sushi rolling skills (even basic, with willingness to learn fusion styles).
Creative with presentation despite space and equipment limitations.
Ability to multitask and prep cross-functionally.
