Job Summary Qualifications, Skills and Experience required:
Degree in Accounting, Financial Management, or Commerce (professional qualification such as CA/ACCA/CIMA advantageous).
Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a finance management role, preferably within the automotive, retail, or dealership industry.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and local tax legislation.
Proven experience in setting up or managing finance functions in new or developing markets.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP or similar advantageous).
Solid analytical, budgeting, and financial reporting capability.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and oversee all financial and accounting operations for the new dealership branch.
Develop and implement internal controls, reporting systems and policies in alignment with Group standards.
Ensure compliance with Zimbabwean tax laws, IFRS and all statutory financial regulations.
Supervise and mentor local finance and admin staff, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in daily financial activities.
Prepare and present monthly management accounts, budgets and cash flow forecasts to Group management.
Support dealership operations through accurate costing, stock control and margin analysis.
Manage banking, treasury and working capital to ensure liquidity and operational sustainability.
Oversee payroll, statutory submissions and employee benefits compliance.
Coordinate and prepare for external audits and ensure timely submission of audited financial statements.
Review and monitor credit control, debtor recoveries and supplier payments.
Conduct financial risk assessments and implement corrective measures.
Act as a key liaison between the Zimbabwe operation and Group Finance on all financial and compliance matters.
