Counter Sales Representative
Job Description
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced, sales-driven, and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join their Parow / Bellville branch. If you thrive in a fast-paced sales environment and enjoy building strong customer relationships, we encourage you to apply. This role requires experience in technical sales representative and sales coordination within the Sales and Marketing & Tooling sectors. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 - 3 years' experience from the power tool industry.
As a Counter Sales, you will be responsible for:
Internal sales
Counter sales
Providing excellent customer service
Assist with greeting and assisting customers
Maintain good relations with customers
Handle queries from customers
All queries to be resolved satisfactory
Monitor bookings and deliveries and collections
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities
Conduct daily sales calls and maintain an active sales pipeline
Maintain and update client reports and provide weekly feedback
Follow up with existing clients to strengthen relationships and explore new opportunities
Order processing (internal)
Provide product recommendations and technical support
Issue & process job orders
Complete all reasonable requests / tasks from management
Stay informed about company policies, procedures, and new service offerings
Technical Skills and Experience
:Matric
Minimum 2- 3 years proven experience in sales / counter sales from the power tool environment
Valid driver's licence (essential)
MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience from the construction industry will be highly adv.
Skills:
Strong drive to achieve sales targets
Energetic, responsible, and outgoing with a strong personality
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong selling and negotiation skills
Ability to multitask and solve problems effectively
