Job Description

An industry leader is seeking a Cost & Management Accountant to take ownership of financial analysis, cost management, and project costing across large-scale operations. If you hold a BCom Honours (with CIMA as a strong advantage) and have 6 years' experience, including at least 3 years in costing, this role is built for you.
You'll:

• Manage project costing and cost analysis across multiple industrial projects.
• Monitor and control budgets, forecasts, and financial performance metrics.
• Prepare detailed management accounts and variance reports.
• Provide cost breakdowns, margin analysis, and financial modelling for strategic decisions.
• Identify inefficiencies and propose cost optimisation opportunities.
• Collaborate with operational, site, and project managers to align financial goals.
• Maintain integrity across financial systems and reporting structures.
• Support the implementation of improved costing methodologies and controls.

???? Your Professional Foundation:

• BCom Honours in Accounting or Finance (essential).
• CIMA qualification (beneficial).
• 6 years' experience, with at least 3 years in costing or project-based accounting.
• Strong background in cost control, financial analysis, and project reporting.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and Excel modelling skills.
• Experience within a hardcore industrial or construction environment.
• A confident communicator with strong business acumen and attention to detail.
