RESPONSIBILITIES
Cost Analysis: Analysing the various costs involved in production, operations and projects to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
Budgeting: Preparing and managing budgets, ensuring that expenditures align with financial plans and objectives.
Cost Control: Implementing measures to control and monitor costs, ensuring they stay within the allocated budget.
Financial Reporting: Preparing and presenting financial reports, variances, and recommendations for management decision-making.
Cost Estimation: Estimating costs for new projects, products, or services to aid in pricing and strategic planning.
Inventory Management: Overseeing inventory levels and valuations to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs.
Process Improvements: Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and eliminate waste, leading to cost savings.
Compliance: Ensuring adherence to relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies related to cost accounting.
