Job Description
You will be responsible for daily financial management, and full responsibility for accurate financial record keeping. The successful candidate should have sound accounting knowledge and experience, that will enable them to work independently.
- Accounting up to trial balance
- GP analysis, and implementation of cost savings
- Implementation & Maintenance of BOMs
- Ensuring Group SOPs are adhered to
- Working Capital management daily cashflow planning and submission of online bank payments
- Debtor reconciliation, management and driving of monthly collectable figure
- Creditor and Intercompany reconciliations
- VAT control and turnover reconciliation
- Submission of statutory returns and payments
- Stock analysis and management
- Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
- Maintaining asset register, calculation of depreciation and wear and tear
- Analysing asset utilisation
- Financial Reporting, monthly management accounts and executive business review
- Preparing of yearly budgets and tracking against monthly results
- Review of payroll transactions
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
- BCom/Diploma/CIMA
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years professional experience
- Understanding BOM important
- Ideally from manufacturing industry
- Hands on personality
- Effective communication skills
- Team player
- Deadline driven
- Effectively works under pressure
